Hey everyone!

First, thank you again for hanging out with me in this little corner of the internet where I share my experience as a mom, my everyday home favorites, and a few tips and tricks sprinkled in along the way.

As you may know by now, my name is Courtney. I’m the mama to two AMAZING little boys, Jaxyn and Coltyn, and married to the best man I’ve ever met, Jason.

This isn’t going to be a long post, but it’s something I feel is important to share. At this time, I won’t be showing my children’s faces on the blog. Do I post them on my personal social media? Yes. But we all know the internet can be unpredictable—and sometimes scary. Right now, I’m just not comfortable sharing my babies’ faces here. You may still catch little glimpses of them from behind or in everyday moments, but that’s a boundary I feel good about keeping.

That said, this won’t stop me from sharing stories, tips, tricks, or all things mom life. It’s simply one way I’m choosing to put a small protective shield around my children.

I know some may wonder why I share photos on my personal pages but not here. My husband is a retired U.S. Coast Guard member who served our country for 20 years. We had our children while stationed at his final unit, very far from our families. Sharing our lives—including photos of the boys—was how we stayed connected to loved ones we couldn’t see often. Friendship and family mean everything to us, and social media became a powerful way to stay close.

Now that we’ve moved back near my family, we’re still far from much of my husband’s family and many incredible friends we’ve met along the way. So yes, I continue to share photos of our boys on my personal accounts—because that’s what they are: personal. And trust me, I know once something is on the internet, it’s always there. I’m not naïve—just clear about my boundaries.

I greatly appreciate your understanding in this matter and I’m truly excited to share more with you. I have so many ideas floating around in my head, and I can’t wait to bring them to life here.
